Campfire Apples

6 medium apples
raisins
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Core apples and scoop out some of the flesh.  Fill each cavity with 1 teaspoon of raisins.  Top with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon; dot with butter or margarine.  Place each prepared apple on a large square of heavy-duty foil.  Seal packages and place on medium-hot coals for about 45 mins, or until apples are tender.

Other ingredients, such as nuts or marshmallows can also be added to the center of each apple.  Create your own unique apples!
